Overview

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Industry Operations Coordinator to join our Darwin branch at Gallagher. In this role, you will service and grow a client portfolio through assisting senior brokers. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and compiling new business quotes and renewals
  • Providing exceptional customer service with tight turnaround times to clients, brokers, underwriters, and other stakeholders
  • Assisting in overall account management and debtor management
  • Identifying opportunities to improve internal business processes and cost efficiencies and working with the Gallagher Service Centre to ensure accurate information preparation
  • Gathering relevant client information and identifying key issues to provide assistance to brokers
  • Ensuring 100% accuracy of documentation and policies for external and internal clients and procedures
  • Staying informed of industry trends by attending internal and external training sessions, industry seminars, etc.
  • Applying best business practices in all activities ethically, professionally, and with integrity
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ideally 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to the Insurance or Financial Services industry, or alternatively, an interest in the insurance industry, along with:
  • A Tier 1 qualification (desirable) or willingness to complete it upon commencement, fully supported by the business
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent administration skills, with a high attention to detail
  • A strong commitment to client service excellence
