Join our culinary team as an Executive Chef and take on a leading role in the kitchen.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced chef to oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior leadership roles within fast-paced commercial kitchens. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail. A passion for innovative cuisine and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences are essential.
This is a full-time permanent position, working across a 7-day rotating roster. The salary range is competitive and negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high levels of productivity.
- Develop and implement new menu concepts, utilizing seasonal produce and local ingredients.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities, equipment, and supplies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, waste management, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan and execute events, promotions, and menu launches.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Executive Chef or senior leadership role in a commercial kitchen.
- Proven track record in managing kitchen staff, implementing efficient systems, and improving productivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
