We are seeking an experienced Culinary Professional to join our dynamic kitchen team.

About the Role:

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing your section, contributing to menu development, and ensuring adherence to high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3-4 years' experience in a similar fine dining or hotel-style restaurant environment, with a strong knowledge of food safety practices and current food trends. They will possess excellent communication skills, be energetic, and have a professional attitude.

The selected individual will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality dishes in line with our fine dining standards. They will also collaborate with the Executive Chef and team to develop new dishes and ideas for the menu.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality dishes in line with our fine dining standards.
  • Culinary Innovation: Collaborate with the Executive Chef and team to develop new dishes and ideas for the menu.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage daily section setup and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCAP).
  • Leadership: Lead by example and work independently when required.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality during preparation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a similar fine dining or hotel-style restaurant.
  • Certification: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (preferred).
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of food safety practices and current food trends. Excellent communication skills, energetic, with a professional attitude.
  • Work Rights: Full, unlimited working rights in Australia.
