Job Description

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations in a luxury hotel. This includes managing food preparation, service, and hygiene compliance, as well as creating culinary experiences for conferencing, In Room Dining, and the Deli/lunchtime venue.

  • Lead and mentor a team of chefs, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement creative and seasonal menus that reflect the hotel's culinary identity.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a senior kitchen leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in modern Australian cuisine and contemporary culinary techniques.
