Drive Business Growth as a Key Account Strategist
The role of the Key Account Strategist is pivotal in driving the successful expansion of our business and implementing a growth strategy. In the first year, the primary objective will be to leverage existing relationships to secure high-quality customer wins, while training a sales team to optimize new business opportunities and emerging distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and driving the sales footprint in established territories, supporting plans to deliver required growth.
- Becoming a key contributor to sales and business plans, establishing the organization as a strategic, long-term partner.
- Delivering assigned sales targets.
- Developing the portfolio using available internal and external resources, supporting account management teams to increase revenue opportunities.
- Taking full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting for the territory.
- Assisting with coordination of proposals, demos, legal contracts, and software mobilization to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Deepening and broadening the customer network, identifying new contacts including C-level and senior business stakeholders.
- Maintaining continuity and up-to-date knowledge of the service offering, industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations affecting target markets.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience delivering sales targets in new business.
- Demonstrated experience selling enterprise, healthcare, and/or SaaS solutions.
- Demonstrated experience selling at the C-Suite level.
- Well-developed consultative selling style.
- People-oriented professional with strong relationship-building skills and a proven track record of growing a sales territory through a channel partner and direct.
- Demonstrated success in understanding the value-based sales cycle (Discovery to Close).
- Critical thinker who is curious, able to ask questions, and challenge with strong creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
