Commercial Contract Management Role

AusNet Services is seeking a skilled Commercial Contract Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Contracts team, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contract management support in terms of contract preparation and execution, risk management, commercial analysis, and contract performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance through actively engaging with stakeholders and maintain awareness of relevant legislation, laws, regulations, standards, codes and Ausnet policies and procedures.
  • Influence continuous improvement and positive outcomes so the contributions are viewed as adding value.
  • Enable accelerated culture change, fostering care, curiosity and connection through a tangible and measurable "Listen, Learn and Act" approach to employee feedback that aligns with the values of Ausnet.
  • Build the foundations required to move at pace by looking beyond what we do today and testing new ways of doing things.
  • Be adaptive to changes and innovations in AusNet's processes and the digital landscape that can help us grow our network and support AusNet's purpose.

Requirements:

  • Strong consultation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years in contract management and administration, commercial and analytical work experience in a large corporate including contract/agreement negotiation is preferable.
  • Knowledge in the application of commercial and construction contract law and experience in contract drafting is preferable.
  • Advanced excel skills - pivot tables, charts and data manipulation.
  • Previous reporting creation experience.
  • Working experience with SAP, ARIBA and other BI tools for analysis (nice to have).
