Job Title: Production Team Manager

This is a leading role where you drive change, supervise, support and motivate team members.

The successful candidate will foster a cross-functional, collaborative team environment and promote a very strong safety focus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily start-up meetings and team meetings to ensure the production team remains focused on their goals.
  • Report and deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to the management team on a regular basis.
  • Monitor and secure manning levels per station to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure that processes for each workstation are up-to-date and meet the required standards.
  • Control and report parts shortages to minimize downtime.
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, motivate, encourage and manage the performance of the production team.
  • Develop and action training plans to ensure employees' skills meet the required standards.
  • Participate in monthly performance evaluation sessions with employees and escalate ongoing performance issues to the Production Manager as required.
Quality and Safety:
  • Initiate investigations and action corrective measures to address any quality or safety deviations.
  • Promote and ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is conducted within 24 hours to support continuous improvement.
  • Conduct audit quality checks and report findings to the team in a timely manner.
