Job Description

The role of Domestic Regional Technical Officer involves providing technical support both domestically and internationally.

Main responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting clients' ICT systems.

  • Provide expert technical assistance to clients on various ICT platforms.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
  • Review and update documentation for ICT installations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures for technical installations and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following skills and experience:

  • A formal qualification or relevant industry experience in complex ICT systems, desktop support, server support, hardware, network, and software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to travel domestically for scheduled and unscheduled site visits.
  • Proven experience in a technical support environment, including fault investigation, triaging, and resolution.

Desirable skills and qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of logical networks or the ability to acquire it.
  • Open Cabling Registration with Optical, Coaxial, and Structured Cabling endorsements.
  • Senior First Aid certification.
  • White Card, Enter and work in confined spaces, Work safely at heights, asbestos awareness certifications.
  • Understanding of client's technical ICT operational environment.

Mandatory requirements include:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • NV2 security clearance is required for this role.
