We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Student Support Services team in the State of Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-level student support services to improve student learning and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert consultation to schools, healthcare providers, and families using evidence-based best practices to support student wellbeing and inclusion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and school leadership to ensure holistic care and support for students.
- Develop and implement programs, procedures, and policies that foster resilience in children and young people to support their educational needs.
- Provide authoritative professional advice on student wellbeing issues and disability inclusion.
- Contribute to the professional development of other team members and support the coordination of student support services.
- Liaise with community service organizations, departments, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- A graduate or post-graduate degree in social work or equivalent.
- Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- A valid Working with Children Check and full Drivers' License is required for this position.

About the DivisionThe Schools and Regional Services division comprises 17 Areas within four regions across the state, as well as 5 central Divisions. Student Support Services (SSS) comprise the Allied Health professions of psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and behaviour analysts.
