International Students Program Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Students Program Assistant to join our team at Highvale Secondary College. As a key member of our International Student Program, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our international students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate tailored tutoring sessions in mathematics and science for students at our College.
* Offer in-class assistance for students requiring language support.
* Facilitate communication between students and teachers, especially in interpreting instructions and learning tasks.
* Address students' concerns and guide them to suitable resources to support their well-being.
* Enhance communication between teachers and parents.
* Support the International Student Coordinator in liaising with students, parents, teachers, agents, homestay families and the International Student Program within the Department of Education.
* Aid international students with orientation, airport pickups, transitioning to homestay, and accompanying them to medical appointments.
* Provide information on academic procedures, visa regulations, and cultural adjustment.
* Maintain accurate records for students, including personal details, attendance, and visa status.
Requirements:
* Individuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
* Must be fluent in both spoken and written Chinese Mandarin and English.
