Student Support Consultant

Flight Centre Travel Academy is seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Support Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will provide exceptional support to our students, ensuring they have a positive and successful experience with our academy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide student support by responding to phone calls, emails, and text messages, and directing queries to the relevant team members.
  • Support the engagement side of student support, including managing the national student email inbox and resolving student enquiries.
  • Process, track, and report on extensions, deferrals, and withdrawals, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to students.
  • Record all student communication in our CRM system, ensuring transparency and consistency in the student experience.
  • Provide study support for all programs, including clear and concise communication of compliance, processes, and support to students.
  • Regularly communicate with all disciplines to ensure efficient processes for student support.
  • Stay up-to-date with course content, assessments, and program information to ensure student queries can be handled in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a customer service role.
  • Diploma of Travel & Tourism or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and self-motivated individual who can demonstrate these skills daily to students.
