Lead Disability Reform Initiatives

Our organization partners with the Victorian Government Department of Education to drive disability inclusion in schools.


The successful candidate will oversee a team responsible for delivering high-quality facilitation services, working closely with the Department to achieve objectives and improve outcomes.


This role requires strong leadership skills, including building positive team cultures, supporting individual growth, and enhancing project management capabilities.


About The Ideal Candidate
  • Hold a degree in Allied Health (Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Speech Pathologist).
  • Bring 10+ years of experience working in or with schools.
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling engagement with diverse stakeholders.
  • Be a strategic thinker, capable of identifying emerging opportunities and implementing enhancements relevant to delivery excellence.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of child development, neurodiversity, and disability frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment, training, and quality assurance processes for facilitators.
  • Collaborate with the Department to ensure reform goals are achieved.
  • Identify and implement improvements to deliver high-quality facilitation services.
  • Maintain a positive, supportive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management expertise, particularly in developing written materials collaboratively.
  • Deep knowledge of Disability Inclusion reform in Victoria, including its history and context since 2021.
