Driving Organisational Excellence as a Business Improvement Specialist

Embarking on a transformative journey, our organisation seeks a seasoned Business Improvement Specialist to drive organisational excellence. As part of this strategic initiative, the successful candidate will spearhead efforts to embed a culture of innovation and best practice across the entire council.
Working closely with staff and project champions, the selected individual will identify, scope, and deliver improvement projects utilising the council's methodology. Furthermore, they will support the integration of the Continuous Improvement Program with other key strategies, ensuring initiatives contribute meaningfully to the council's long-term objectives and yield quantifiable outcomes for the community.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement organisation-wide benefits reporting frameworks
- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards tracking real-time performance metrics across the council
- Harness data insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive meaningful community impact
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A relevant degree or extensive experience in data analytics, lean six sigma, or a related field
- Proven experience working in organisations with diverse services, functions, or products
- Thorough knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies
- Excellent reporting, analytics, and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to influence and coach improvement champions through change
