Veterinary Hospital Clinical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary ECC Clinical Director to join our team at Animal Referral Hospital in Western Sydney. This is a full-time permanent role with a generous salary and benefits package.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in the growth of our hospital, working closely with our Business Manager and other department heads to develop strategies for expansion. As an ECC Veterinarian, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and providing high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.
About the Role:
- Establish best practice processes for the ECC department
- Communicate effectively with the team to promote a positive work environment
- Ensure the department meets financial targets to sustain growth
- Develop and implement growth strategies with the Business Manager and other department heads
- Support team members through feedback and performance reviews
- Recruit new team members with complementary skills
- Become a First Aid Officer with appropriate training
Requirements:
- Veterinary degree available for registration in NSW
- Minimum 5+ years experience in 24/7 Emergency and Speciality Care hospitals
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams successfully
- Strategic thinking to refine and grow the service
- Management training would be advantageous
- Commitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality veterinary care
