Veterinary Hospital Clinical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and visionary ECC Clinical Director to lead our team at Animal Referral Hospital in Greater Western Sydney. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic and growing hospital, driving clinical excellence and innovation in emergency and specialist care for pets.
Key Responsibilities- As an ECC Veterinarian, you will work across a mix of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends, with a roster defined to balance your work-life needs.
- You will establish best practice processes for the department, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Communicate the hospital's vision and key updates to your team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting team collaboration.
- Drive departmental financial performance, ensuring targets are met to sustain growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with the business manager and other department heads to develop strategic growth plans, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
- Support your team through performance reviews, identifying areas of strength and growth potential, and providing feedback to enhance professional development.
- Assist with recruitment activities, building a high-performing team with diverse skills and expertise.
- Develop your skills as a first air officer, with the support of management.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A veterinary degree, eligible for registration in New South Wales.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a 24/7 Emergency and Speciality Care hospital.
- A proven ability to lead and motivate teams, driving clinical excellence and innovation.
- Strategic thinking to refine and grow the service, with a focus on patient care and staff development.
- Formal or informal management training, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A passion for delivering compassionate and high-quality veterinary care, with a focus on team collaboration and patient outcomes.
We offer a full-time permanent role with a generous salary and benefits package, including:
- A competitive salary, estimated to be $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
