Veterinary Emergency Director

Are you a skilled Veterinarian looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and growing hospital?
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our Emergency Department at the Animal Referral Hospital in Western Sydney.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position offering a generous salary of $220,000 - $280,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a range of benefits including relocation assistance, sponsorship for yourself and your family, additional paid parental leave, and all-inclusive attendance at one of the largest annual veterinary symposiums in Australia.
You will be working as an ECC Veterinarian across a mixture of shifts, with a roster defined in collaboration with the Business Manager to ensure a good work-life balance. Your time will be split between clinical work, establishing best practice processes for the department, communicating with your team, and ensuring the department meets financial targets to sustain growth.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years' experience working in a 24/7 Emergency and Speciality Care hospital, with strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality veterinary care. You will be responsible for recruiting and developing your team, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews, and working collaboratively with other department heads to develop growth strategies.
