Job Summary

The Sales and Operations Manager will play a critical role in implementing our global strategy, driving commercial activities, and supporting our local team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative company that is shaping the future of technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Global Strategy
    • Develop and execute a local strategy aligned with our global objectives
    • Drive commercial activities with key customers and prospects
  • Develop and Support Local Team
    • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 4 people
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to team members
  • Monitor and Improve Performance
    • Oversee the overall performance of the subsidiary
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Commercial Activity KPIs and Orders Forecast
    • Manage commercial activity KPIs and orders forecast in Salesforce
  • Contract Renewal Process
    • Oversee the contract renewal process
  • Financial Reporting
    • Provide financial reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
    • Forecast sales and expenses, and provide business inputs to the finance team
  • HR Role
    • Act as an HR representative, processing monthly payroll and overseeing employment contracts
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Report to the Regional Director and matrix organizations within the group
    • Provide regular business updates and insights

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • Experience
    • 5 years of experience in a managerial or commercial role, with a focus on a specific industry (SW, SAAS, industrial equipment, services)
  • Skills
    • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce)
    • Accounting knowledge
    • Good technology and IT culture
    • Windows Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other modern office tools
    • Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
    • Effective communication and teamwork

This position is based in Melbourne.
