Job Title

We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual to lead and manage the operational aspects of a fitness centre and team of health professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the operational aspects of their designated campus Fitness & Aquatic Centre, developing and implementing health and fitness programs for students and the community, working closely with the wider sport team to ensure program safety, effectiveness, and participant needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the operational aspects of the Fitness & Aquatic Centre
  • Develop and implement health and fitness programs for students and the community
  • Work closely with the wider sport team to ensure program safety, effectiveness, and participant needs

Requirements:

  • Degree in Sport and Exercise Science or relevant associate diploma with two years' subsequent work experience and accreditation with Exercise and Sport Science Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in leading people and designing, delivering, and managing exercise programs
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to prepare reports and liaise with stakeholders
  • Administrative and organisational skills with ability to plan and prioritise tasks
