Job Title: Fitness and Wellness Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Fitness and Wellness Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for the daily operations of our fitness facilities.

The Opportunity:

You will play a key role in delivering excellent user experience for all aspects of health, fitness, and sporting endeavors. Our facility offers nationally accredited amenities and support from leading health and sports scientists, making it an ideal place for individuals to achieve their fitness goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and coordinate the daily operations of the gym and aquatic environments;
  • Support the design, implementation, and delivery of exercise prescription services for fitness members and university programs;
  • Assist in facilitating numerous internal university programs operating out of UniSC Sport and Fitness; and
  • Provide a safe, clean, and maintained daily training environment for all users and staff.

Your Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A relevant qualification with associated work experience or an alternate combination of knowledge, training, and experience;
  • Experience with exercise program design and delivery;
  • Completion of a First Aid and CPR qualification; and
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
