This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and reputable transportation company in North Queensland. As a Sales and Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in driving business growth and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and freight services.

  • Manage the sales funnel and undertake business development activities to grow new business and develop existing accounts.
  • Proactively engage with existing and new customers to build strong relationships and exceed customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with workshop and depots to ensure optimal delivery and scheduling of freight.
  • Mentor and coach team members on customer satisfaction and operational issues.
  • Schedule jobs in conjunction with the operations team and manage changes or disruptions to planned logistics.
  • Ensure scheduling meets compliance and safety obligations.

  • Previous transport, logistics or supply chain sales or account management and planning experience.
  • An understanding of the transportation and logistics industry, including knowledge of regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Proficiency in software systems relating to office communication, planning and scheduling, CRM and sales processing.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
