MedTech Business Development Executive

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the UNSW Sydney campus as a Business Development Manager - Life Sciences. As a key member of the Business Development & Commercialisation (BD&C) team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and commercialising university IPs through licensing deals, partner collaboration grants, and research partnerships with global and local industry partners.
About the Role- You will operate as a key interface between UNSW and external partners, focusing on driving innovation and commercialising university IPs.
- Manage partnerships with industry, government, and other external partners.
- Build and maintain key relationships across various divisions within UNSW.
- Work closely with the New Venture Team to support spinout opportunities and facilitate university medical initiatives.
UNSW is a leading research-intensive university, committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion. We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation and benefits.

To be successful in this role, you will have a significant track record in developing and closing MedTech R&D related business deals, including research partnerships and IP commercialisation. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver training and capability development to academic researchers using your proactive communication, stakeholder, and relationship management skills.
