About the Role

As a Business Development Manager in our Life Sciences division, you will play a key role in driving innovation and commercialising university IPs through licensing deals, partner collaboration grants, and research partnerships with global and local industry partners.

Salary and Benefits

The salary package includes a competitive base salary of approximately $130,000 per annum, plus benefits such as 17% superannuation and additional leave entitlements.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and closing MedTech R&D related business deals, including research partnerships and IP commercialisation across medical devices, diagnostics, medical AI, health data, or digital health.
  • Delivering training and capability development to academic researchers using proactive communication, stakeholder, and relationship management skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A significant track record in developing and closing MedTech R&D related business deals.
  • Strong relationships with industry, government, and other external partners.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
