Senior Business Unit Director

We are seeking a Senior Business Unit Director to lead our Advanced Wound Management (AWM) business for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving aggressive business growth, modernizing the organization, and achieving budgets for sales, profit, and growth.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong commercial finance or sales background to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for leading the AWM ANZ strategy and activities, contributing to the company's strategic direction, and formulating corporate-wide policies and procedures.

You will also manage the preparation of commercial excellence budgets, KPIs, and reports; liaise and advise key stakeholders on commercial excellence activities and requirements; and create a professional, open, teamwork-focused culture with substantial amounts of transparency and frequent communication with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the AWM ANZ strategy and activities to contribute to the company's strategic direction and formulation of corporate-wide policies and procedures.
  • Manage the preparation of commercial excellence budgets, KPIs, and reports.
  • Liaise and advise key stakeholders on commercial excellence activities and requirements.
  • Create a professional, open, teamwork-focused culture with substantial amounts of transparency and frequent communication with the team.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in management or related discipline. MBA desirable.
  • Strong commercial finance or sales background with at least 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Significant experience in pulling together complex corporate sales opportunities, quotes, proposals, and agreements.
  • Superior knowledge of the Australian Public & Private healthcare systems and key stakeholders across ANZ.
  • Strong experience negotiating in difficult situations or from a weak position to secure win-win outcomes.
