About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Leader to join our team at Coles Local. As a Retail Store Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of passionate customer-focussed team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

About You
  • Experience in leading a team to deliver great customer experiences by engaging, educating and inspiring customers
  • Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills, including rostering, performance management and day-to-day coaching of a large and diverse team
  • Ability to work flexible hours across our store trading days (including early mornings, evenings and weekends)
  • Passion for being the Champion of customer and community engagement initiatives and driving culture and passion for 'Foodie Inspiration' and 'Better for You'
  • Coach, develop and inspire team members, building capability, driving accountability and creating a great place to work
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team across all areas of the store, including replenishment, fresh produce, and service checkouts
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive customer engagement and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless store operations
  • Monitor and improve store performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement
