About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Domestic Services Assistant to join our team at VMCH. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment
  • Clean residents' rooms, including ensuites, furniture, and equipment, as well as communal and administrative areas
  • Ensure common living areas, hallways, and other areas of the facility are maintained in a clean and tidy condition
  • Store and manage cleaning materials safely and securely
  • Report any issues or concerns to the Residential Services Manager

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Well-developed prioritization and organizational skills
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
