People and Culture Business Partner Role

We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join our collaborative team where you will be challenged and rewarded as we continue to implement the new People Strategy.

This unique role carries a heightened focus on conducting and coordinating case management across the People and Culture Business Partner team, while managing a smaller client portfolio with full partnering scope. It also offers hands-on involvement in shaping forward-looking People and Culture projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry a heightened focus on conducting case management across the wider People and Culture Business Partner team, while continuing to manage a smaller client portfolio with full partnering scope
  • Act as the subject matter expert for their business units to provide advice and guidance and work on strategic initiatives with other teams within the division
  • Manage employee and industrial relations matters within business units, driving outcomes and mitigating risk
  • Manage and contribute to change management initiatives
  • Apply knowledge and expertise to create and implement cultural initiatives to help embed values in everything we do
Requirements
  • Demonstrated capability in conducting, coordinating and reporting on complex case management matters in a unionised or industrial environment
  • Proven demonstrated experience conducting workplace mediation and/or facilitation will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications at degree or diploma level majoring in human resources management or equivalent and/or experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in providing a range of Human Resources generalist advice in large or complex organisations
  • Demonstrated record of adopting a consultative approach in the delivery of human resources services to managers and employees
