The Role: History Teacher

We are seeking an experienced History Teacher to join our team. As a History Teacher at Merici College, you will bring the past to life with dynamic teaching methods and engaging resources aligned with the curriculum. You will guide students on a journey of discovery, helping them understand the lessons of history and their relevance today.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach History subjects to students from Years -
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
  • Foster a love for learning and create a supportive environment for students
  • Collaborate with colleagues and families to achieve academic excellence
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration
  • A thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to be a proactive member of a professional learning community
