The Role

A skilled History Teacher will inspire students to explore the past with engaging resources and methods aligned with the curriculum. Through regular assessments and thoughtful feedback, they will guide students on a journey of discovery, helping them understand the lessons of history and their relevance today. Dedicated to fostering a love for learning, this educator will collaborate with colleagues and families to create a supportive environment that encourages growth and critical thinking.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration

  • In-depth knowledge of the Australian Curriculum with the ability to design effective content and teaching strategies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with colleagues, students, and parents
  • The capacity to be a proactive member of a professional learning community adhering to legal, administrative, and professional requirements
  • Classroom practices and organisational skills creating safe and supportive environments for diverse student needs
  • Comprehensive understanding of assessment and reporting strategies providing timely and effective feedback

This position requires working with children, and appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening in accordance with CECG policy.
