The Role

The successful candidate will be a highly effective communicator and educator, able to engage positively with colleagues, students, and parents. They will bring the past to life with dynamic teaching methods and engaging resources aligned with the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Foster a supportive and safe environment for all students
  • Provide regular assessments and thoughtful feedback to guide students' progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues and families to create a supportive learning environment

Requirements

  • A thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community
  • Classroom practices and organisational skills that promote student engagement and academic achievement

Benefits

  • A competitive salary range of $75,000 - $110,000 per annum
  • Up to 26 weeks of paid parental leave (paternity/non-initial primary carer leave)
