The role of Site Operations Manager APAC involves overseeing the ongoing management of our various leasehold facilities in the APAC region. This includes offices and data centers across Asia-Pacific, as well as implementing new projects. You will work closely with our APAC Business and Technology teams, along with the Global Facilities team, to provide solutions for our dynamic and fast-growing business in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain efficient operation of electrical and mechanical services infrastructure, including UPS systems, electrical distribution systems, generators, data centers, chilled water systems, HVAC equipment, fire detection and suppression systems, access control, and environmental monitoring systems.
  • Monitor building services, identify issues, and resolve them promptly.
  • Negotiate service contracts and select suitable contractors.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and architects on designing, project managing, and delivering new leasehold construction projects.
  • Manage infrastructure maintenance activities and supervise contractors for preventive and remedial maintenance, general repairs, and new installations – both during and outside normal business hours.
  • Evaluate all work performed to ensure it meets planned scope and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/coursework (5 years).
  • Proven technical skills and experience supporting electrical and/or mechanical services infrastructure.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Data Center operations and strong working knowledge of critical support environments such as HVAC, electrical switchgear, UPS systems, power distribution devices, fire suppression, and monitoring systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to troubleshoot equipment, install, and troubleshoot software applications.
  • Motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Focused on innovation (cost savings, increased efficiency, etc.).
  • Able to interpret specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with IT terminology, hardware, and change management processes.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery aspects related to critical infrastructure.
  • Able to use electrical, air flow, and environmental monitoring systems; able to utilize electrical/mechanical and HVAC test equipment to troubleshoot and document equipment performance;
  • Project assessment/design/implementation skills/change management.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
