We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Strategic Relationship Builder.
This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your commercial acumen and partnership-focused approach to drive growth and build strong relationships across the travel trade landscape.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and executing new business opportunities, managing existing partnerships, and delivering exceptional results.
About the Role- Build and grow strategic partnerships with key travel trade accounts
- Develop annual sales and marketing plans tailored to each key account's goals
- Lead face-to-face and virtual training, webinars, and workshops with partner front-line teams
- Manage sales agreements, reporting, commissions, and co-op marketing plans
- Identify and close group business opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner activations
- Host familiarization trips for agents, media, and trade partners
- Ensure high ROI from marketing campaigns, events, and promotional spend
- Stay informed about competitor activity and market trends
- Provide timely reporting, forecasts, and market insights to support planning
- Proven sales or account management experience in the travel or tourism industry
- Strong network across the Australian travel trade landscape (e.g., retail, OTA, consortia, wholesalers)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A customer-focused, relationship-first mindset
- Strong planning and organizational abilities, with a self-driven work style
- Willingness to travel across the region and work occasional evenings/weekends
