National Sales Development Specialist

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our UPS sales strategy. As a National Sales Development Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with IPD Sales teams to help them achieve their UPS sales and contribution targets.
About the Responsibilities:
- Leading the development and execution of the national UPS sales strategy, including business development activities and sales targets, to meet overall objectives.
- Establishing and maintaining comprehensive state-based project registers for UPS initiatives, tracking progress and identifying key opportunities.
- Conducting extensive face-to-face interactions with customers and contractors, while supporting consultant specifiers to effectively position IPD products for success.
- Serving as a subject matter expert on the UPS market, staying informed about market conditions, design criteria, and standards to leverage additional business opportunities.
- Assisting in identifying and addressing the training and development needs of regional sales teams, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
About You:
- Qualifications in an Electrical Trade, or specific industry-based knowledge that's demonstrable in UPS and backup energy storage systems.
- Previous experience in solution selling as well as selling through a reseller/partner network.
- A strong understanding of the contract and tendering processes, specifically in large scale UPS opportunities.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of competency in the management of KPI's, margins and sales figures.
- Knowledge in MS Office and CRM software.
- Proven communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.
- Must have the ability to travel to clients is essential.
