About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and drive the IPD offer nationally from a sales perspective. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the national motors sales strategy and business development to ensure sales and contribution targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and supporting the national motors sales strategy and business development to ensure sales and contribution targets are met.
  • Spending time in the field, engaging directly with customers in key sectors like Infrastructure, Mining, Utility, and Industrial, with a focus on motors and leveraging additional IPD products.
  • Maintaining state-based project registers and keeping the National Sales Team informed of market conditions, technical knowledge, and relevant sales data.
  • Ensuring the sales team's competency through ongoing training and development while maintaining updated CRM records and managing expenses.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Qualifications in Electrical Trade
  • Previous experience in solution selling as well as selling through a reseller/partner network
  • A strong understanding of the contract and tendering processes
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of competency in the management of KPIs, margins, and sales figures
  • Knowledge in MS Office and CRM software
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Ability to travel to clients
