About the Role

Polyaire, a leading manufacturer of innovative air conditioning and ventilation products, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Western Victorian branches. This is a unique opportunity to combine sales and operations into one role, requiring a high level of tenacity to drive branch performance and achieve financial targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and support to branch employees, driving team performance and engagement.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities and drive sales activity to achieve business objectives.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor and manage labour and overtime, suggesting areas for improvement to optimize branch performance.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver a brilliant, consistent, and engaging customer experience, ensuring all team members understand the importance of quality service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee counter sales, logistics, and warehousing activities to ensure products are delivered in full and on time, meeting Inventory KPIs.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance conversations, providing constructive feedback, support, guidance, and coaching to branch employees.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with all procedures, maintaining a strong WHS culture and managing safety, quality, and store presentation to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Ensure accuracy of inventory levels and efficient stock management.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Preferred qualifications in stock control and/or logistics.
  • Customer Focus: Strong ability to build customer relationships and deliver expectations.
  • Emotional Intelligence: High levels of emotional intelligence and people leadership accountability.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain and manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Inventory Systems: Strong electronic inventory/sales systems skills.
