Job Description

Polyaire Air Conditioning Products is a leading manufacturer of innovative air conditioning and ventilation products. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Western Victorian branches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership to branch employees and drive branch performance to achieve financial targets.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales activity to achieve business objectives by identifying new business opportunities and managing labour and overtime.
  • Human Resources: Manage all HR issues, perform performance reviews, and develop effective people management strategies.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver a brilliant, consistent, and engaging customer experience by ensuring quality service and fostering high levels of engagement among team members.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee counter sales, logistics, and warehousing activities to ensure products are delivered in full and on time.
  • Team Performance: Lead, develop, and drive team performance through effective people management strategies and regular performance conversations.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with all procedures, maintain a strong WHS culture, and manage safety, quality, and presentation of the store, warehouse, and office.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Ensure accuracy of inventory levels and efficient stock management.
Requirements:
  • Professional Qualifications: Preferred professional qualifications in stock control and/or logistics.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer relationships and delivery expectations.
  • Leadership Accountability: High levels of emotional intelligence and people leadership accountability.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and well-developed communication skills.
  • Operational Background: Strong operational background with a good understanding of logistics and warehousing processes.
  • Electronic Systems: Strong electronic inventory/sales systems skills.
