Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced leader to join our Board as the next Chair, driving change, reform, growth, and innovation. As the Chair of the Board, you will play a critical role in steering our strategic direction and decision-making while upholding the highest governance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead board meetings and ensure accountability of deliverables
- Advocate for Anglicare SQ's mission and strategic goals, working closely with our CEO and Executive team
- Ensure the effectiveness of the Board and its individual members, both in and out of the Boardroom
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive executive experience in areas such as Business, Finance, IT, Legal, Governance, HR, or Customer Experience in large and complex organisations
- Health, community services, or not-for-profit experience would be highly advantageous
- Extensive Board or Corporate Governance experience
- Demonstrated capacity to lead teams with an unwavering commitment to maintaining our governance framework and ensuring accountability across all levels of leadership
