Field Service Engineer Job Description

Suitable candidates will contribute to shaping the mega trend decarbonization by taking on our role as Field Service Engineer.

  • Provide technical support and advice to field sites.
  • Maintain work packages, technical procedures, control sheets, methods and documentation for installation teams.
  • Anticipate risks and chances and raise them to the Project Team.
  • Maintain the Field Service time schedule and coordinate dates with Project Team and customer.
  • Prepare specifications, technical procedures and work descriptions for installation subcontractors.
  • Evaluate installation bids/offers.
  • Facilitate clarifications with customers.
  • Participate in design review meetings.
  • Ensure field related design considerations.
  • Ensure availability of HSE, quality plans and documents.
  • Develop project specific procedures and safety assessments.
  • Determine site layouts, tooling/fixtures and site infrastructure requirements.
  • Monitor target achievement regarding quality, schedule, costs.
  • Support corrective actions.
  • Identify and allocate required internal and external resources.

A strong team player with leadership and project management skills is expected. Proficiency in MS Office suite, SAP and Primavera P6 is essential. Knowledge in AutoCad, Solid edge software or equivalent is desired.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary; due to our international team setup additional languages are beneficial.
