Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical maintenance specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing balance of plant mechanical work scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute balance of plant mechanical work scopes with minimal supervision.
  • Provide technical support to the site team and facilitate clarification with the engineering team as needed.
  • Participate in design review meetings and ensure field-related design considerations are met.
  • Maintain subcontractor work packages and ensure timely completion to meet project requirements.
  • Review and support data quality in our construction management software to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Monitor achievement of quality, schedule, costs, and corrective actions to optimize project performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Able to drive project success by focusing on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget goals.
  • Prior experience in supervising BoPm installation in large hydro power projects or similar industries is essential.
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment is required.
  • Sound understanding of construction project management best practices is necessary.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven individual.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or equivalent.
