Job Overview

The role of a Field Service Engineer is to provide technical support and advice to field sites. This involves preparing and maintaining work packages, technical procedures, control sheets, methods, and documentation for the installation teams at the job site.

The Field Service Engineer will also be responsible for anticipating risks and chances and raising them to the Project Team. They will maintain the Field Service time schedule and coordinate dates with the Project Team and customer.

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and budgets. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, sub-supplier handling, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and advice to field sites.
  • Prepare and maintain work packages, technical procedures, control sheets, methods, and documentation for the installation teams.
  • Anticipate risks and chances and raise them to the Project Team.
  • Maintain the Field Service time schedule and coordinate dates with the Project Team and customer.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience and technical understanding of Turbines, Generators, and balance of plant equipment.
  • Project management, sub-supplier handling, and scheduling experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fully computer literate MS Office suite, as well as SAP and Primavera P6 knowledge.
