Agricultural Sales Specialist Opportunity

The role of Agricultural Sales Specialist at our Cooma branch is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative team member dedicated to forming strong and genuine relationships with growers and customers in this diverse agricultural region.

About the Role:

As an expert agronomist, you will be responsible for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises through agronomic and technical support, product sales, and industry knowledge.

  • Service growers across the diverse agricultural area of NSW and surrounding Cooma region
  • Engage and work alongside a team to provide cutting-edge solutions for farmers and producers
  • Responsibility for delivering high-quality products and services to meet the needs of growers and customers
  • Provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region together with product sales both in store and on farm.
  • Keeping relevant with latest plant production practices together with running and coordinating field days and farmer meetings will position you as the go-to subject matter expert in the region.

Key Requirements:

  • Full working rights within Australia and a wealth of experience in a similar agronomy position ideally within a commercial environment
  • Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application
  • History of success in executing sales outcomes using specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
  • A valid driver's license is critical
