Job Title

A field service engineer will join a global company to support technical projects in mechanical work scopes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate technical documentation specific to project requirements.
  • Manage mobilization, demobilization, and purchase orders.
  • Prepare and update site-specific documents such as lifting plans and installation instructions.
  • Contribute to the development of HSE and quality plans with responsible personnel.
  • Provide technical support to site teams and facilitate clarification with engineering teams.
  • Participate in design review meetings and ensure field-related considerations.
  • Prepare and maintain subcontractor work packages.
  • Collaborate in short- and medium-term work planning.
  • Review and support data quality in construction management software.
  • Identify, document, and report scope deviations, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor achievement of quality, schedule, costs, and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate regular meetings for lessons learned and site status reviews.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to drive project success with focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Previous experience in supervising BoPm installation in large hydro power projects or similar industries.
  • Technical knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment.
  • Construction project management best practices.
  • Team player with customer-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Proactive mindset to anticipate challenges and provide problem-solving solutions.
  • Computer literacy with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills in English for international team environments.
