Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at The Ritz-Carlton. As an integral part of our kitchen staff, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
About the Role
">In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Your expertise will be required to prepare ingredients, cook dishes, and ensure that all menu items meet our exacting standards.

- Maintain adherence to sanitation and health regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff members.">
- Collaborate with the Chef to review assignments, anticipate business levels, and make necessary adjustments to meet demand.">
- Prepare ingredients, including portioning, chopping, and storing food, to ensure timely delivery to the kitchen.">
- Continue preparation work between meal services, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.">
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.">
- Monitor food quality while preparing food, adhering to our high standards of taste, texture, and appearance.">
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, ensuring accurate and consistent results.">
- Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.">
- Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles, presenting dishes with flair and attention to detail.">
- Anticipate and communicate any assistance needed during busy periods, ensuring seamless service delivery.">
- Become aware of food and labor costs, monitoring food levels to minimize waste and maintain controls to meet forecasted food costs.">
- Direct and assist Stewards to maximize clean-up efficiency, maintaining a clean and well-organized kitchen environment.">
- Provide new ideas to and run the department in the absence of the Chef and Sous Chef, demonstrating leadership and initiative.">
- Use kitchen tools safely and appropriately, adhering to our strict safety protocols.">
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.">
- Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food, verifying that all equipment is functioning correctly.">
Requirements

- 1 year of supervisory experience, demonstrating your ability to lead and motivate a team.">
