Job Summary:
Gourmet Curry Hut is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional Indian cuisine to our customers. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing food preparation, inventory, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a range of Indian curry dishes to the highest standards
• Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste
• Supervise and train junior staff members to maintain high-quality food standards
• Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items and improve existing ones
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in a senior chef role, preferably in an Indian restaurant
• Advanced knowledge of Indian cuisine, including traditional recipes and cooking techniques
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
