About the Role:

The Hyatt Centric Melbourne is seeking a skilled Chef De Partie to join their Culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the smooth operation of the hotel's kitchens.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising team members and maintaining a positive working environment
  • Assisting with the training and development of junior chefs
  • Setting, clearing, and resetting designated working areas and sections
  • Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety
  • Collaborating with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Experience with Modern Australian and Classic European cuisine
  • Certificate IV Commercial Cookery or higher
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
