Young Carer Program Case Manager

The Young Carer Program seeks a dedicated and skilled case manager to provide individualized support to young carers and their families.

  • Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing case management services to young carers, facilitating group activities and linking them with services and opportunities.
  • Requirements: A degree in Social Work, Psychology or Community Services (or Diploma + extensive experience) is required. Strong communication, group facilitation and advocacy skills are essential.
  • Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized case management, facilitate fun and skill-building group activities, link young people with services and supports, advocate for young carers and promote the program at schools and community events.
  • Requirements: Experience in case management, youth work or community services, trauma-informed and culturally inclusive approach, ACT Working with Vulnerable People Check and Driver's Licence.
