We are seeking an experienced Solutions Account Manager to join our team at Insight. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving professional services sales and delivery of Insight's digital innovation solutions focused on Microsoft technology to NSW and ACT education clients.

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your market knowledge and network to create connections that support business growth and assist clients in reaching their strategic goals. You will work closely with Insight's partner BDMs and vendors such as Microsoft, GitHub, and Databricks to strategize opportunities and plan co-sell activity.

You will also work in alignment with Insight's practice management/leaders, solutions specialists, and PMO teams to drive pre-sales activities in accounts and monitor delivery milestones on projects to ensure engagements meet client expectations.

About the Role
  • Generate new business through targeted account planning, leveraging marketing collateral, events, internal relationships, and partnerships.
  • Deliver valuable business outcomes to clients via consultative selling, with the intent to develop long-term business partnerships.
  • Work closely with Insight's Partner BDMs and vendors to strategize opportunities and plan co-sell activity.
  • Drive pre-sales activities in accounts and monitor delivery milestones on projects to ensure engagements meet client expectations.
What We're Looking For
  • Extensive experience in a senior IT consultative sales role, with both new business development and account management experience.
  • Experience selling professional services solutions to the tertiary education sector or public sector in NSW/ACT.
  • Evidence of prior success in exceeding sales targets with deal sizes of $500K to $5M within large corporate and enterprise accounts.
  • Proven experience building and managing C-level client relationships and providing value-added, strategic insight to their business.
  • Ability to demonstrate ongoing desire to learn and understand new and emerging technologies.
