Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Security Operations Manager to join our team at Microsoft. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and operational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality security services across our global datacenter network.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing physical security operations at our datacenters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. They will work closely with our vendor teams to deliver security solutions that meet customer needs, while also driving continuous improvement and innovation in our security program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement physical security policies and procedures to protect people, information, and critical infrastructure
  • Collaborate with datacenter operations, security systems, and other stakeholders to ensure secure and continuous operations
  • Continuously improve the efficiency and maturity of our physical security program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to reduce churn and optimize resources
  • Demonstrate and promote a culture of teamwork, diversity, and inclusion, supporting the development and retention of talent within the organization
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in security operations or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of physical security principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
