Therapeutic Support Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapeutic Support Manager to join our team at Lifestyle Solutions. As a Therapeutic Support Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services to children and young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support, supervision, and guidance to a team of Youth Support Workers to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent therapeutic services to children and young people.
- Manage and maintain rosters and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and support for the team.
- Day-to-day management of the services, including creating a safe and supportive environment for children and young people.
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of case plans and leaving care plans in consultation with Case Managers.
- Coordinate the completion of life story work by Youth Support Workers in consultation with Case Managers.
- Manage complaints and respond to allegations or concerns raised in consultation with the Service Specialist (Senior Manager).
- Relevant management experience of children and young people in Out of Home Care who have complex care needs due to trauma-based backgrounds and behaviors.
- Experience managing staff who regularly face crisis situations in the course of their work.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in working within the relevant legislation, OOHC Standards, policies, and procedures.
- Capacity to apply culturally appropriate practices with Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Excellent oral and written communication and demonstrated administration skills and computer literacy.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of multidisciplinary teams and in partnership with other services, and to receive feedback and guidance.
- Current driver's license.
- Working with Children Check.
- Vaccination against COVID-19.
- Hourly rate based on SCHADS 5.1.
