Job Title: Therapeutic Support Manager
Job Summary:
Lifestyle Solutions is seeking an experienced Therapeutic Support Manager to lead a team of support workers in providing therapeutic care to children and young people in our out-of-home care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support, supervision, and coaching to the team of Therapeutic Youth Workers
- Manage and maintain rosters and appropriate staffing levels
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of documentation, plans, and reviews
- Ensure quality life story work by the Therapeutic Youth Workers
- Manage informal and formal complaints and feedback
- Ensure mandatory internal and external reporting occurs
Requirements:
- Relevant management experience of children and young people in out-of-home care who have a disability and/or complex care needs due to trauma-based background
- Experience managing staff who regularly face crisis situations in the course of their work
- Knowledge and experience to work within the relevant legislation, out-of-home care standards, policies, and procedures
- Capacity to apply culturally appropriate practices with Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- Excellent oral and written communication and demonstrated administration skills and computer literacy
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of multidisciplinary teams
- Current driver's license
- Willingness to work outside of business hours
- Current Working with Children Check
- Vaccinated against Covid-19
