Job Description

We are seeking an experienced educational leader to shape the future of vocational education and training in South Australia. As Educational Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing academic frameworks that align with our institution's strategy and quality standards.

You will lead a team of educators and collaborate with stakeholders to drive initiatives that empower students to excel academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Envision and articulate a compelling vision for our institution, formulating clear goals and leading your team towards success through effective communication and adaptability.
  • Ensure the implementation of appropriate human resource management policies and strategies to foster a productive working environment.
  • Support the design of learning programs that meet current and future knowledge and skills needs, providing flexibility to offer learning opportunities as needed.
  • Monitor academic progress and address any issues promptly, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with major industries, government agencies, and employer groups, identifying emerging trends and developments to position our institution as leaders in learning.
Requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree in Adult or Vocational Education.
  • A Diploma in Management (Min AQF5) or a Graduate Certificate in Management, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strategic and People Leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in successfully leading a large team.
  • Educational operations management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of educational best practices and current trends.
  • Excellent industry and government stakeholder partnering skills.
  • Strong financial acumen, project management and strategic thinking experience.
  • Trade or relevant professional qualifications and experience.
  • Highly refined interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement educational strategies.
